Sweden Coming to Michigan?


In the Great Lakes IT Report today, Matt Roush discusses how the Sweden’s Chemrec AB company wants to build a renewable biomass fuel plant in the Upper Peninsula. 

Chemrec is looking to partner with NewPage Corp, a papermill company based out of Ohio, to help convert waste from the paper pulping process into a biomass fuel. 

Many folks involved are heading up to Michigan Tech in Houghton later this week for further discussions.
