Companies investing in Global Businesses

Global Expansion I just read an article in Forbes that talks about how Good Year tires is investing in the expansion of their business globally.  They are planning on building a plant in China and expanding their presence in Brazil, Chile, Germany, and Poland.  Good Year’s global sales amounts to over 54% of total sales.  Obviously - going global has made good business sense for Good Year.

In addition, I read about Starbucks and their expansion globally and how important expanding is to increasing their sales.

The more I read, the more I see the necessity for companies to take advantage of the opportunities that exist for American Businesses by going global.
