Other InfoThe Midwest US Japan Association Annual Conference will be held September 7-9, 2008 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and provides an excellent venue to network with senior Japanese representatives. If you have any interest in Japan and growth of relationships between our state and Japan then you should attend this conference. If you know of others than may have interest, please pass this information along.
Two hundred and fifty participants from the Midwest states and 250 from Japanese corporate members are expected to join the conference.
The annual joint meetings have been held between the American and Japanese business delegates to interact since 1967. The conference features high quality presentations, as well as formal and informal gatherings among the corporate and government leaders of the two nations which leads to concrete trade and investment opportunities for individual companies. This conference is supported by the ten Midwest member states in the U.S. and Japanese member corporations of the Japan Business Federation as well as the prefectures having sister-state relationships with the 10 states in Japan. The conference location rotates from one of the Midwest states in the U.S. and Japan every year. Michigan will host the conference in September 2010 so this provides an excellent opportunity for you to preview the networking advantages of this conference. Individuals may register on line at www.midwest-japan.org.
